Welcome to my site - I hope that the articles offered here provide an insight into some of the issues that  arise in our social arena. Whilst humanity has always experienced conflict, often resulting in fundamental changes in the way individuals understand their social reality, nevertheless the challenge of global environmental sustainability seems to surpass other catastrophic events. Furthermore, individuals find their well being eroded by demands made by the market economy and a merciless state undertaking an agenda devised by an elite hegemony of vested interests.In a world where the dilemma of interpreting and evaluating the web of beliefs about human activity and social institutions is a formidable challenge nevertheless the need to attempt this task is self evident. Thus, I hope contributions available here might, in a small way, contribute to offering a useful contribution towards these complex discussions.
